Yuva Chetana App

About Project

The Yuva Chetana application combines learning, engagement, assessment, and service linkage in a single unified platform designed specifically for adolescent needs. The app offers structured learning modules on sexual and reproductive health, menstruation, nutrition, adolescence, contraception, substance abuse, personal rights, government schemes, and life skills. All information is presented in youth-friendly language and formats to ensure easy understanding.

A key strength of the application is its self-assessment feature, through which adolescents can evaluate their personal situation on issues such as rights violations, personal risk factors, and access to welfare schemes. Based on the responses, the application generates customized action points, which may include helpline numbers, trusted institutions, web links, or guidance on whom to contact for support. This ensures that learning is not only theoretical but also connected to actual services available to adolescents in the community.

To maintain engagement, the application integrates interactive tools such as a BMI calculator, creative drawing features, decision-making activities, and simple learning exercises. The platform supports different user roles—adolescents, peer educators, and institutional facilitators—allowing the field functionaries to assist young people, register new users, and track their progress. With Hindi and English language options, responsive design, accessibility for low-end devices, and web-dashboard reporting, Yuva Chetana serves as a comprehensive system supporting adolescent empowerment at scale.
