Yuva Chetana is a web and mobile-based digital platform developed for CINI (Child in Need Institute), a nationally recognized rights-based organization working to empower children, adolescents, and women in vulnerable communities. The platform supports CINI’s mission of enabling adolescents to grow with knowledge, confidence, and informed decision-making abilities.
The application focuses on adolescents aged 10–19 years, helping them understand crucial topics related to sexual and reproductive health, personal safety, life skills, and government schemes that support their development. It follows an adolescent-friendly approach—simple language, interactive learning, and real-world relevance—ensuring young users can reflect on their circumstances, identify risks, and take steps toward their well-being.
Yuva Chetana also strengthens the ecosystem around adolescents by enabling peer educators and field facilitators to register users, support them in assessments, and ensure they receive guidance and connection to essential services. Developed through structured design, field feedback, and continuous refinement, the platform represents CINI’s preventive and developmental approach, which focuses not only on delivering information but also on enabling access, accountability, and empowerment at community level.
